Chantal Akerman Retrospective and Blu-ray Release

Following the success of last year's re-release of Jeanne Dielman, 23 quai du Commerce, 1080 Bruxelles, Capricci is presenting a retrospective of sixteen films by Chantal Akerman, ranging from Je tu il elle (1974) to No Home Movie (2015), in two cycles across French cinemas. To coincide with this retrospective, Capricci will release a Blu-ray box set on October 1st, featuring Akerman's feature-length and short films – the most complete collection available worldwide to date. On the occasion of the complete retrospective and exhibition at CINEMATEK and Bozar earlier this year, Sabzian presented a trilingual Collection of texts in French, English, and Dutch by and on Akerman, combining texts that are available on the website with a complete overview of Chantal Akerman’s filmography.
