Apichatpong Weerasethakul Retrospective and Exhibition at Centre Pompidou
Filmmaker Apichatpong Weerasethakul is the guest of honour for the Centre Pompidou's 2024-2025 season. Starting on October 2, the Centre will host a comprehensive retrospective and exhibition on the work of the Thai filmmaker. The retrospective will feature his eight feature films, around thirty of his short (and rare) films, collective works, and two feature films he produced. At the end of the programme, Apichatpong Weerasethakul will contribute a new short film, commissioned by the Centre Pompidou for its Where Are You Now? film collection, which will be presented at the event’s conclusion.
Éditions de l’Œil, in partnership with the Centre Pompidou, will also publish Homes, a new collective volume that traces Apichatpong Weerasethakul’s career in conjunction with the exhibition and retrospective.
On the occasion of his visit to Brussels earlier this month, Sabzian has published two new collections dedicated to his work.
