The Criterion Channel

Criterion Channel, a subscription streaming service owned and operated by New York-based Criterion Collection, has officially launched. Thematically programmed with special features, the Criterion Channel will offer constantly refreshed selections of Hollywood, international, art-house, and independent movies, plus access to Criterion’s entire streaming library of more than 1,000 important classic and contemporary films from around the world. The collection includes, among others, the following films: Les 400 coups (François Truffaut, 1959), Angst essen Seele auf (Rainer Werner Fassbinder, 1973), The Apu Trilogy (Satyajit Ray), Belle de jour (Luis Buñuel, 1967), À bout de souffle (Jean-Luc Godard, 1960), Brief Encounter (David Lean, 1945), Copie Conforme (Abbas Kiarostami, 2010), ...
