Save ABC Cinema!

ABC Cinema is an exceptional vintage cinema from the seventies, situated on one of the busiest avenues of Brussels. For over forty years it was exploited as a sex cinema, but since last summer this piece of urban heritage stands vacant. Its infrastructure and location lend themselves perfectly to maintain the building’s theatrical function with minimal investment. Cinema Nova, Offscreen/vzw Marcel and La Rétine de Plateau joined forces to save the place. The initial restart will be a crowdfunded project. At this moment the further practicalities, bank account and the necessary legal structure are being created to bring this project to a successful conclusion.
