Educational Platform
The educational platform contains lesson packages consisting of texts, reflections, interviews, films, video material and working documents, accessible only to students and teachers.
Sabzian will continue to develop this beta version of the educational platform over the next year in dialogue with Belgian educational institutions and other partners. To access the platform, teachers and lecturers should send an e-mail to contact@sabzian.be. The platform is only accessible to Belgian schools for the time being.
Harun Farocki (1944-2014) was een Duits filmmaker, auteur, filmcriticus en -docent. Veel van zijn werken bevragen de relatie tussen oorlogsvoering, kapitalisme en representatie. Zo komt in zijn oeuvre een unieke visie tot uitdrukking waarin technische beelden of simulaties, fotografie en cinema worden afgezet tegen wat bekendstaat als “de realiteit”.
In slechts drie jaar tijd ontstond het gehele oeuvre van Jan Decorte (1950) als filmmaker, een cinema getypeerd door filmische spaarzaamheid en een gededramatiseerde theatraliteit: het televisiespel Nature morte (1976), de langspeelfilms Pierre (1976) en Hedda Gabler (1978), en de televisiefilm Gombrowicz: voorvallen, avonturen (1977).
